Urban&Rural Panorama's
Editing My Panaorama's
I edited my series of photos using Adobe Photoshop CS5.1. I then unlocked the background image by double clicking padlock to unlock th background layer. The first thing I did in photoshop was changing the canvas size. I did this by going to 'image' and then clicking on 'canvas size'. I could of also done this by holding alt, command and C at the same time. I then changed my width of the canvas to 1182.86. The reason for this is because I need to place my images on a long width canvas so it gives it the panorama effect. After I created the canvas I had to crop my images using the 'Rectangular marquee tool'

Jem Southam
Jem Southam is a British photographer who was born in Bristol in 1950. Jem Southam focuses his work on landscape and nature images which is the sort of photography which I enjoy the most. I decided to do base my project around landscape and panoramic pictures. Jem Southam has been a landscape photographer for over twenty-five years also does some work on subtle changes in the British country side through the process of filming a particular area for a long period of time.

Editing my Images
IMAGE SET #1
This is one of my best images that I have taken, the reason for this is because I like they way that my image starts of Urban and slowly drifts off into the rural area of the trees on the right. I also really like the lens flare which you can see on the bottom right of the image. This shows contrast between Urban and rural. On the right hand side of the image you can see a kind of curved line which acts like a boarder between the urban and rural side of the image.
Here Is another one of my best images, the reason for this is because as you can see on the left of the image its start off with an old street with an old road and slowly goes to the right where there is a new road with new shops. This shows contrast between old and new. On the bottom left of the image it looks quite messy with the leaves all up the pavement, however on the right on the image you can see that its very clean and tidy and very new looking. You may also notice the colour of the double yellow line. The yellow lines of the left of the image look very worn and very old and not nice looking, however on the right hand side of the image the yellow lines look fresh and very new looking. This really shows the contrast between old and new. On the left hand side of the image there is no one there which gives us the impression that area looks slightly abandoned, however on the right of the image you can see the window cleaners in the white which gives us the impression that the area on the right has been looked after more and is not abandoned like the area of the left. The building of the left look very dull and boring and doesn't look very nice to look at, however the building on the right and a nice pinky colour, which makes the area look happier and better looking than the area on the left which is a dull browny colour.
